Sun Pharma announces voluntary withdrawal of 28 ANDAs
Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd has informed BSE that one of the Company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries has voluntarily requested the USFDA to withdraw approval for 28 Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs) belonging to erstwhile Ranbaxy Laboratories.
These older drug products belong to erstwhile Ranbaxy Laboratories and are not being marketed in the US since 2008 said company in its filing.
The company, in a regulatory filing to stock exchanges, said: “One of the company’s wholly-owned subsidiaries has voluntarily requested the USFDA to withdraw approval for 28 Abbreviated New Drug Applications (ANDAs)”.
However, company didn’t mentioned any details about ANDAa and the drugs.
